Who We Are
I am an experienced teacher and researcher in the field of English language education, with over 20 years of experience working in universities, schools and with corporate clients. My area of specialism is the psychology of language learning. I help learners achieve their goals by developing self-directed learning strategies, optimising learner engagement, and increasing communication confidence. I am passionate about designing bespoke learning materials that are centred around clients’ English communication goals.
With over 20 years of experience as a brand and graphic designer, my career is uniquely rooted in the intersection of education and industry. My journey began at Kyoto University of the Arts, where I advanced from PR Officer to Senior Manager in the Industry-Government-Academia Collaboration division.
In that role, I managed high-profile partnerships and led a flagship talent development project under then-Vice President Yasushi Akimoto, focusing on bridging emerging creatives with professional opportunities. Today, as an independent brand designer, I leverage this unique background to build powerful brands for innovative start-ups and new government-led business initiatives.
